By Valerie Muir

Select the correct pair of shoes this summer for any occasion and make your outfit feel complete. Purchasing the perfect pair for summer is a tough decision, but it is possible. Whether your going on a 10 mile hike, spending long days at the beach, or going out for dinner shoe selection is key.

Hanging out on the beach should be done in style. Flip flops are a major factor in making this possible. If your planning on wearing a plain or solid colored swim suit purchase flip flops that have a spunky pattern on them or are a bold summer color.

Accent your cute swimsuit by wearing red, orange, deep purple, or even yellow flips flops. They are great because there nice and easy to put on. Plus there available at almost any retail store. They come in a variety of colors and patterns.F

When planning to go out on a fancy dinner date this summer make sure your heels match your outfit and make a statement. If your going for a more sassy or flirty look you have to wear big heels with lace or a big bow or jewel. Something that stands out. If your going to something more formal yet moderate a small heal or flat works great.

Summer dresses for dinner or a BBQ are always fun to find shoes for. You can mix and match almost anything you want. Don't stress about finding the exact same color of blue that's on your dress to match. Summer is perfect for matching different colors. Orange and purple go great. White can be worn with anything. Yellow heels looking smoking hot with a blue or pink dress.

Hiking on the other hand can be difficult as well. Brand is key when it comes to purchasing a good, strong, and supportive pair. You must also consider if the hike will have water along the way. If this is the case you may want to purchase water resistant.
