What Your Funny T-Shirt Claims About You

By Jonas Blunt

You may not realize it, but the t shirts you wear can tell others plenty about you. Like, for instance, that you have got a good sense of humor.

However apparent impressions apart, it basically goes a lot deeper than that. Let's look at one or two examples:

Lager/Alcohol

The "I like to party and I do not care who knows it" person. Those who wear shirts advertising alcohol are big party folk. They live for the weekends and having a wild time. They are out for a good time and sometimes up for anything.

Popular Culture

The "I am cool because I watch TMZ" person. The person that wears any shirt referring to some current pop culture event likes to be seen as someone that is "in the know." They are current on what the celebs are doing and need everyone to know it.

Improper/Offensive

The "I like to p*ss people off" person. The person who wears these shirts is subversive and independent. They really don't care who they offend. In reality the more sickened the individual, the better.

Sexual Innuendo

There are two groups who wear these shirts. Ladies and men.

Men

The "I'll sleep with anyone who is sufficiently desperate to think I'm funny" guy. This fellow is lost when it comes to meeting girls and thinks he'll "get some" with his funny t shirt for men. It's of no consequence how barely this works. He keeps trying because he doesn't have any other concepts.

Women

The "I want attention from men" girl. She isn't out for a genuine hook-up. She is just hunting for fellows to note her, flirt with her, and buy her drinks.

Now, if you're reading this and find yourself upset as you love to sport one of these t shirts, don't be. These are just generalizations. Besides, if you actually look deep, you'll potentially find that there is a bit of truth in the statement that shocked you.

Plain T Shirt

The "I don't want to be spotted" person. The person that wears a plain white t shirt, or blue, red, black, green, etc, is a watcher. A wallflower, if you will. They, also , love to be comfy, but do not really have anything to say.

However putting all of this psychology apart, be honest. Don't you find yourself doing anything you can to read a complete shirt before it, and the person wearing it, get away? Most of us do.

This is a kind of voyeurism that is acceptable. We know if we can read that complete shirt, we'll get a glimpse into the psyche of the person wearing it. And we don't have to be as ashamed about it.

Ever realized that there are far more funny t shirts for men than there are for ladies? Is that because blokes are rather more inquisitive about making a statement? Or because ladies are far more interested in reading them?

We may never know. But , funny t shirts do make that trip to the food store or the market a lot more fascinating, don't they?
