St Moriz, The New Tan in a Bottle

By Aiesha Webber

This is my first article I have submitted so a little unsure where to start. Please be nice.

I have decided to write this as I have become interested in the beauty industry, in particular a product that I have found and love. I love it so much I want to share it with others to make them aware of how good it really is.

Thousands of women all over the world have tried their fair share of beauty products, me included. There are many products from anti-ageing to a variety of fake and self tanning products. If, like me you are fair skinned and finding the one that works, you will have tried the whole range.

Fed up with streaky tans, I was looking for a new fake tan and found this one while searching through many on eBay. Its called St Moriz and by comparing its packaging, looks the poorer relation to St Tropez which is an excellent product but extremely expensive. I decided to give it a go, especially as it was in my price range.

So this is what I thought of St Moriz after my first time of using it:

When you first apply the lotion is smells quite nice but can smell a little like biscuits overnight, which isn't a problem if you like biscuits, I suppose. When I go out in the sun I usually go a mid golden colour which is the same as what I got from using St Moriz the only difference is this is an all over tan with no white bits. I am led to believe that these types of products work by adapting to your skin's natural ability to tan. I am not sure as to how true this is.

If you are like me you are cautious when paying alot of money for a product in case it doesn't work or you don't like it. St Moriz avarages around 6 per bottle making it affordable to colour test unlike St Tropez at 20 a bottle.

Just one more thing about St Moriz, it doesn't mark your bed sheets which is something that lets a lot of other similar products down. It does however; stain the palms of your hands very quickly so you will need to wash your hands frequently and quickly during application. The other option is to wear gloves but these can be a disadvantage when spreading the spray evenly.
